I finally went to Davis Street Tavern last night - it kept coming up on people's favorite places list. It was definitely worth all the praise. We split the Steak Frites and the Seared Tuna Carpaccio. Both were excellent - I loved the subtlety of the green chile aioli, the shoestring fries were delicious, and the tuna paired well with the avocado and the dried tomato sauce. My husband had the Old Town Revival and quite liked it - I can't stand absinthe, so I can't comment.
