This is from today's (11/12/2004) A&E, and I can't tell you how very sad I am that it is happening on the same day as the wine crawl.
Oh, and Hair of the Dog does have a website: http://www.hairofthedog.com/ (which doesn't seem to be working right now)
77 IN DOG YEARS -- Hair of the Dog Brewing Co. celebrates its 11th year this Saturday with its annual warehouse sale. The day is circled on many a beer calendar because fans of good beer love Hair of the Dog's big, uncompromising beers, such as the 2004 edition of Doggie Claws, which'll be available Saturday.
There will also be just 100 magnums of Adam From the Wood available -- and even with a limit of one to a customer, it'll likely be gone by noon. The beer is a batch of the brewery's award-winning Adam aged in a bourbon barrel since 1996, and anyone who's sneaked a taste of it during that time (a group that includes Brit beer writer Michael Jackson) will tell you there's nothing like it.
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Hair of the Dog Brewing Co., 4509 S.E. 23rd Ave.; 503-232-6585.
