Watching Whims and Israel do their thing at Viridian Farms for P&P on Saturday night was one of the sexiest things I have seen in a while (all apologies to my wife, who is always sexy, so that doesn't count). Amazing dinner, amazing farm, not a single Pinot Noir (thank you Teutonic!), and $1800+ to Oregon Tilth to boot!

Jennifer, thanks for the early notice system. I was on this morning and snagged the meal of my choice. I know how quickly some of them sell out so this is great.

Surprisingly the server didn't crash and the dinners didn't sell out in less than an hour. It's the best line up of dinners I can recall. Blame the economy?

Hi all,

Been a lurker on these boards for a few years. Thanks for all the amazing discussion and information!

I've looked a bit but couldn't find the right category for my post, so I'm posting here. Please let me know where I should do this in the future if it ever comes up again (apologies if I am violating a rule or terms of service!)

I have two tickets to the following sold out Plate and Pitchfork event:
Sunday, August 19 at Viridian Farms ~ a special Benefit for Farmers Ending Hunger
Chef Vitaly Paley from Paley's Place with Chef Benjamin Bettinger (formerly of Beaker & Flask)
with wine from Ken Wright Cellars

http://www.plateandp...om/dinners.aspx
http://pitchfork15-e...eventbrite.com/

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend. I am hopeful that someone on this board would like to attend. Looking to recoup the face value ($150/ticket = $300). Selling the pair only.

If you are interested (and it is even kosher to ask on these boards), please reply to this post and send mail to seatshopping@yahoo.com (title "plate and pitchfork")

Appreciate any help you can provide!

-Seth
