Eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life
and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship.
It is of great importance to the morale.

Thanks for posting this. Do any of these have the option for a group to arrange something?

I believe there has been talk of such a thing regarding OCI in another thread. It would be interesting to know which ones would be open to it. Good question.

I loved the class we did with Chef Ivy at Craig's house. It was a lot of fun and the food was so good! I'd be interested in another cooking class.

Looking forward to the dim sum class Iona was talking about doing after tax season too. We're almost there. :P

Does anyone consider themself to be a master or mistress of roast meats? I'd love to learn more about pork and beef roasts - somehow that part of my cooking education is missing.

Special points given for roasting techniques from various ethnic cultures.

Hey there,

I thought I might politely and humbly suggest that you add my new business to your list of cooking classes.

My friend Monika and I just opened Hipcooks Portland. We provide completely hands-on cooking classes - everyone cooks, everyone tastes, everyone eats! (Every class ends with a dinner party for our hungry and hard-working students). We have dozens of menu-oriented classes. If you all are interested in more information, get in touch with me through our website: http://www.hipcooks.com/

Thanks!

Jessica
