The Oregon Bartender's Guild is happy to announce our March event, "A
Tribute to Jerry Thomas" on Saturday, March 22nd at 12pm.

We will be featuring some of the Pacific Northwest's top bartenders recreating
drinks from Jerry Thomas' "Bon Vivant's Companion" (the first drinks book
written, circa 1862) for your enjoyment.

David Wondrich, author of "Imbibe: From Absinthe Cocktail to the Whiskey Smash:
A Salute in Stories and Drinks to 'Professor'Jerry Thomas, Pioneer of the American Bar"
and contributor to Esquire Magazine will be our guest presenter and
facilitator, sharing his knowledge and anecdotes about some of these
cocktails with our audience.

Seating is very limited for this event, so first come first served reservations only.
To make reservations, please send an email to info@oregonbarguild.org. The event is $75.

Just one last update to this thread. We are almost full for this event, so if you've been thinking that this is something you'd like to attend, now is the time to express interest. Our reservations are being taken at info@oregonbarguild.org. I know this will be appearing in a few media outlets over the next few days, and I wanted the pf.org people to have first shot before we get overwhelmed.

Btw, thanks for all of your support.
