I have heard about a place in the Pearl where one can rent space and bake, thereby being able to sell the stuff commercially, without having to certify one's home kitchen or work out of a restaurant kitchen. I have no idea what it's called. Anyone know?

There was an article maybe 6 months ago in the Trib about commercial kitchen space. I don't remember anything beyond the fact that many of the downtown carts use something similar for their food prep. If I have any brain cells left after work, I'll try and see if I can find it.

Contact Portland's Food Innovation Center -- not sure about cost and availability but they have public cooking spaces for rent.
