Ha-ha, that's the geographical feature, not the size of the meaI!

I am driving up to The Dalles to get cherries for Cool Moon tomorrow. Any lunch suggestions anywhere along the way? Oregon side preferably.

Thanks for any rec's!

I'll third this with their pizza. And I love their Gypsy Stumper IPA, though it's only seasonal.

Another place that serves decent brewpub fare is Pfriem. Here's their online menu: http://www.pfriembee...asting-room.php

Sorry that I didn't see this until today but for future reference, love Pfriem for lunch as well. Celilo is open Friday and Saturday's for lunch. In the summer, people flock to the HR taqueria. Pine Street bakery does nice sandwiches. And for something quick, New York City subs is awesome.

In The Dalles, the little taco cart Taqueria Mi Pueblito has some really spectacular sopes!  Freshly made, crispy on the bottom, tender and chewy.  We had them filled with tongue which was so tender and flavorsome.  Please find them if you're out that way.

We also found a great little Asian market (Montira's) which also cooks food and sells various clothes and Thai ephemera and other tschotsckes.  But the shelves were amazingly well stocked for such a small town, immaculately presented, with fresh Asian produce(!) like Thai basil.  (Mostly Thai ingredients.)  Plus, she has a little kitchen in the back and preps a really delicious green curry which is packed to go.  It's obvious she takes a great deal of pride in her shop.  If you're in The Dalles, please pay her a visit.
