Anyone know a good Indian grocery? Spices, legumes, rice, papadam, etc?

I assume west of Portland!

Thanks!

We recently started shopping at the Fiji Emporium located about 4-blocks north of Lombard on Interstate (east side of the street). They have a great selection of Indian sundries.

There's a new market run by the people who own Namaste called Namaste Indian Bazaar. They serve some hot snacks and get great online reviews.

If you are on the west side:

Bazaar World Foods

10255 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, OR 97005

http://bazaarworldfood.com/

They have tons of Indian spices (Garam masala by the kilo, etc.) and prices are reasonable.

Link for Bazaar World Foods above is incorrect - it links to a place in Colorado

Namaste Indian Bazaar is just getting started, but it shows promise. The food in the deli is better than the food at their restaurant at 82nd and Sandy.

The place has a small produce section and a grocery section full of stuff that I'm clueless about. There are several freezers full of ingredients and prepared foods.

I bought some cryovac prepared foods that were $2 each or 6/$10 that make a quick and tasty meal when combined with some leftover rice.

They say they're going to offer some cooking classes in the future.

As a bonus; if you're in the neighborhood, Lily Thai Market and the new 2nd location of Food Fight! Vegan Market are just east a couple more blocks on Halsey

StMaximo - Thanks for correcting it. Not sure why the .com ended up as .net
