This place took over what has, in my opinion, been mostly crap-holes in this location on 72nd and SE Harold St. This is decidely not a hipster or "trying to be" dive bar. It's just a bar. But it has everything one would hope for in a neighborhood bar. A TV for the people who feel that's necessary. Nice, high(er) end hooch such as Blanton's. The best approximation of a Big Mac (called the Big Urn--or Url, I can't remember) I've tasted with really tasty fries. I don't know if it's grass-fed or hormone-free but honestly, I don't care right now. The burger was exactly what I want a bar burger to be. Two patties, crisped. Shredded iceberg lettuce. Sesame seed bun. Special sauce. Just perfect. If only every neighborhood could still have a decent neighborhood corner bar like this.
