Menus Offer Buffet and À La Carte Choices with Traditional Dishes and Pacific Northwest Favorites
Thanksgiving feasts are on the menu at three of Portland’s most prominent dining destinations as the Heathman Restaurant & Bar, Jake’s Famous Crawfish, and Jake’s Grill open their doors on Thursday, November 26, 2015 to families and friends for delicious dining.
Heathman Restaurant & Bar
The Heathman Restaurant & Bar will offer service all day, and its famous Thanksgiving buffet begins at midday with grand seafood display and carving stations featuring Pacific oysters, chilled prawns, natural roasted turkey, Double R Ranch roast sirloin and house-cured ham. Diners seeking refined fall dishes will be delighted by choices such as roasted pork loin with plum onion fondant and sweet potato purée or coq au vin with pearl onions and wild mushrooms. Jake’s Famous Crawfish
Jake’s Crawfish will offer its full à la carte menu with the largest selection of the freshest seafood in the city from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. For those who want more traditional Thanksgiving fare, the restaurant will offer a turkey or ham dinner complete with sage dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams and fresh vegetables. Over at Jake’s Grill, a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast will be served buffet-style in the Grand Ballroom in the Sentinel Hotel from noon to 5:00 p.m. The spread will include a carving station with roast turkey, traditional Thanksgiving sides such as roasted winter vegetables and warm green bean casserole with wild mushroom velouté and fried onions, a chilled seafood bar with snow crab and prawns, and a lavish dessert table. Pricing is $39 for adults and $19 for children ages 4-12. The restaurant will also offer a three-course pre fixe menu from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a choice of nine different entrées, soup or salad and one of Jake’s famous desserts.
