This what you're looking for?

That's on the shelf at the Sellwood/Moreland liquor store. It also appears to be at the 1st Ave shop downtown.

For those who don't know, the ONE thing that doesn't suck about the OLCC is this site: http://oregonliquorsearch.com

Damn! It sure is! Thanks very much for finding that.

BTW, if you do a search for 'amaro nonino' this doesn't come up, as of the last few minutes. I've been checking for weeks now.

That's a different Amaro than the one called for in the recipe - Amaro Nardini.

Generally I use the shortest descriptor I can. I.e. each one of these will show up individually if you type in Nardini or Nonino rather than Amaro Nardini or Amaro Nonino

I do think the question up thread about anyone actually eating at Imperial was valid.

We were talking about two different ones for two different recipes. This is the one I've been looking for the longest, and I picked it up last night. Thanks, Nate!

The key here is knowing to search for the word 'quintessentia.' Without that bit of info, you won't find it in a search.

See the JandJ post above about 'actually eating at Imperial.'

Yeah, my technique when searching for obscure stuff on that site is to just enter a single word from the name (I tried Amaro and failed, turning up several other items). If that doesn't work, I try another single word, in this case Nonino which met with success.

I think the biggest problem with the system is that several stores don't have their POS systems tied into the main database. In addition to Rose City and Uptown, Hawthorne (at SE 11th) isn't linked in either, which sucks cuz that's the one I frequent the most and generally has one of the better selections, IMHO. Still, it's generally pretty damn handy.

I heard OLCC has dropped amaro nonino, so get it while you can...
