Goodbye for now...

Haven't posted much in the last year, been working like crazy. It's paid off, I got promoted and shipped off to Washington where I got the Exec Chef/GM job at the Intel campus in DuPont (a little south of Tacoma for those who aren't familiar, exit 119). Anyway, just wanted to say it's been fun getting to talk shop with all of you (and meeting a few of you in person). Hoping to still get back to PDX every now and then with a little more cash in my pocket to try some of these great new places popping up. Take care and keep eating!

Eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life
and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship.
It is of great importance to the morale.

Working in the same place I was at before I moved, got a raise and lost my knife callus (Chef to GM). Good to be back in civilization.
So what did I miss?
