I just got back from eating there and yet again, confirmed that it is my favorite restaurant in Portland and one of my favorite restaurants period. Tonite, a parsnip & apple soup that was unbelievably good, the mixed greens salad with hazelnuts and Rogue River smoked bleu cheese and the pork dumplings. Everything I have tried on the menu, which changes about every 2-3 months, has been incredibly good. Bill, the chef, is very creative, uses only the best local ingredients and puts them together in wonderful ways. If you like pork chops, don't miss his version, or for that matter his trout. My advise, go.Has anyone been to Filbert's? I've read a few reviews on it but I've never known anyone who has actually eaten there.
