At this point the site focuses primarily on downtown but it looks like they're planning on adding NW and the Pearl. Hopefully they'll add the east side as well.

Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

Thanks for the update Bryan! I'll look forward to the addition of Eastside locations and the pub crawl feature.
One item I think could be extremely helpful is a date stamp for when information is added for an establishment.

- You can write reviews for places
- You can now tag places with keywords
- There's now a search tool
- We've added quite a few East Portland places and are adding more very soon.

Awesome site, Bryan. I think my quality of life has actually increased thanks to the discovery of this site. Let me explain: I have off every Friday and I always end up drawing a happy hour blank in my excitement. No more!

Right now you have to have an account to create a crawl, but I plan to add the ability to create one anonymously. Same with writing reviews. That being said, signing up is easy and I won't spam you or anything.
Speaking of spam, hope you don't mind me posting this update here!

I'm pleased to announce that we've (finally) added some key features to UrbanDrinks.com.
Most obvious is the ability to easily rate places. It's just a one-click star rating, similar to Amazon's. These ratings are intended to be "overall" ratings, not just a happy hour rating.
We've also added a friend feature so you can create a network like in Facebook or MySpace.
The user profile pages have been revamped as well (check out mine ). If you have an account, you can add me as a friend. You can also search for other members.
If you're a programmer-type, there's also a simple XML version of the member profiles, so you can feed your reviews, ratings, friends, etc. into your own blog if you're so inclined. Just append ".xml" to a member profile page, such as http://urbandrinks.c...eople/bryan.xml
Question for the forum..
We are pondering the idea of adding coffee shops to UrbanDrinks as a separate set of web pages.. you would be able to rate and review places, as well as view them on a Google map of course. What do you think? Would anyone be interested in using this?
Thanks!
Bryan

Thanks for all the work you're doing to keep the site fresh and up-to-date. It appreciated.
I'm not much of a coffee shop person, so it's not a feature I would use. I think the rest of this town would love it though.
