I'm getting really excited about Ten-01. I saw the blueprints; the space is going to be amazing. Lots of seats -over a hundred- a raw bar, and a mezzanine level. They're supposed to be opening October 26th. I just can't wait till I get to see the menu. I'll keep ya'll informed.

Cool~ We walk by there every day, I often wish I could stop and ask for a tour, "tell me what is going here " etc B)
I like the look of that upstairs part with those big windows..it will look amazing when they are finished, from the outside also.

Which one is this? They have two new places they're working on, right?

Okay, so that's not the vegan place, then, right? Aren't they doing the vegan place in North Portland?

Yes, pdxnewbie is correct. 1001 NW Couch, in the Henry Building. The chef is going to be Eddie (don't know his last name) who they hired away from the Dundee Bistro.

Robinson, Eddie was not stolen from the bistro. Nor was Erica. But they do make a fiery team to be reckoned with... excited about this duo.

This is the new restaurant from the Tabla guys. They're having a preview party tomorrow night, it's $30 and the proceeds go to SMART. Here's the link: http://www.ten-01.com.

I enjoyed myself

The space was different than I expected

The open kitchen is done differently then most, with it seemed the cooking go on in the back, and the more visual front filed with pots and pans

The staff seemed very pleasant and enthused, but it didn't test service, since it was a pass the tray affair

The App's were limited, so it would be unfair of me to comment either good or bad, since I don't know whether they reflect what is currently being served

Will go back, but with a mid to high price point, I'll let the dust settle first

What about you?
